Characteristics of International Regatta Descens Ebre - Description of the regattas
Characteristics of International Regatta Descens Ebre, the competition consists of the combination of two regattas:
A 500-metres-long sprint regatta
A “descens” regatta of 15,500 metres.
The sprint regatta will be held on Saturday and will indicate the lanes and starting order for the “descens” regatta.
The “descens” regatta will be held on Sunday, with the starting order and the lanes being decided by the previous day’s results.
The ‘Descens de l’Ebre’ regatta will be won by the club which adds the least time between the two regattas.
This competition is designed for the participation of one boat per category:
- SM: 1x
- SF: 1x
- JM: 2-
- JF: 2x
- CM: 8+
- CF: 4x
- MM: 4+
- MF: 4x
Even though these boats will be the ones winning points for the prize per clubs, it is also possible to participate in any other modality and/or category out of the competition.
The sprint regatta will be held on Saturday in the river Ebro at the installations of the Club Rem Tortosa in Campredó.
The regatta will consist of a distance of 500 metres.
And will indicate the starting order and the position of the boats in the lanes in the “descens” regatta.
This regatta will be 15,500 metres-long and will be held on Sunday.

The winners’ ranking
This ranking is based on the historic ranking of the regatta, so, the winners of this ranking are the absolute winners of the ‘Descens de l’Ebre’.
